Conversations That Count Sessions
Wednesday fortnightly 10h00 – 11h00
It is imperative that the value the GBTA SA delivers to our Members, Suppliers and Sponsors is relevant, insightful and makes a positive impact on the Corporate Travel industry. Our commitment to the 3C strategy of Collaborate | Communicate | Connect was highlighted over the Lockdown period. The initiative to launch the “Conversations that Count” dialogue on a weekly basis was very well received and became a placeholder for many throughout lockdown. The initiative proved to be meaningful and whilst there was no charge for the attendance, we believe the value gained was notable. Technology has enabled that these live broadcasts have an extensive reach for our sponsors which continues with the broadcasts being recorded. Our 2021 Event Calendar will have fortnightly Conversations that Count Sessions.
Going forward these recordings will be made available to subscribed Members.

Workshops
Whilst the Southern African membership can be addressed as a holistic market, there is no doubt that different regions have different dynamics. The intention in 2021 is to host regional meetings where we are able to bring local representatives of our sponsors and Members together to discuss relevant and insightful issues in our ongoing endeavors of making a positive impact on the local industry.

In addition, we have the ability to tailor training for organisations who may require specific industry content.
In the ongoing efforts to develop the role of the Travel Buyer we are introducing a “Master Class” for those senior Buyers who wish to advance their skill and career to the next level. This will include global accreditation and require the Member to earn annual credits.
