This week Andy Williams from SafeHotels joined our conversation. SafeHotels have just launched a Covid-19 Standard and Certification for hotels. Andrew discussed the importance of having a standard for all hotels and other types of accommodation regarding fire, safety and security. During this time is is important to work on plans and having schedules for training to ensure the hotel industry builds confidence and trust moving forward.
All accommodation is supported and can become a certified establishment.
There is a process to be followed to become a certified establishment and only following an onsite audit inspection will SafeHotels issue an actual Certificate to the hotels. Contact Robyn Christie for more information.
