PechaKucha – ever heard of it?
The Japanese introduced this term to us and it’s catching on in a big way. In a nutshell, PechaKucha is a presentation style in which 20 slides are shown for 20 seconds each (6 minutes and 40 seconds in total). The format, which keeps presentations concise and fast paced, enables multiple-speaker presentations at events and that is just what we want to offer our suppliers for our future meetings. It takes a bit of prep and fair amount of skill but the overall impression and take-aways are far more memorable.

How are travel programmes organised today? How do they approach duty of care? Which functions do they handle internally, and which do they outsource? Join us as we present results from GBTA’s Managed Travel Index (MTI).
GBTA Convention 2019
The Business Travel Event of the Year®
Today’s travel professionals are being defined by emerging technologies which have transformed the modern managed travel experience. Every day, new roles and responsibilities are being created for travel buyers—to include procurement, human resources, security/risk mitigation, and meetings management. In addition, new security risks have altered the very identity of the travel professional, who must now factor current geopolitical issues into consideration.
